Team Nigeria kits arrive Brazil 48 hours to closing ceremony

Team Nigeria kits for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games has at last arrived in Brazil.

The kit is arriving less than 48 hours to the closing ceremony of the Games.

The kits, which was to have been used for the opening ceremony, was left back in Nigeria by officials attending the games.

The athletes involved in the march past for the opening ceremony had to make use of improvised attires.

The kits are usually worn by athletes during the opening and closing ceremonies and during medals presentation.Nigeria has so far not won any medal at the Games.

The only medals being expected now are from the men’s football team, the Dream Team VI, and the women relay team.

That will be if the Dream Team overcomes Honduras in the third place match for the Bronze medal and the relay team is able to dust the opposition.
